Constructive Development

My professional practice has been beyond architectural design and urban planning: it has included working with low income groups, including efforts for the material and human reconstruction after devastating earthquakes, methods of financing for low income groups and for large scale projects, locally and internationally, coordination of studies and projects with several specialists for building and infrastructure projects, supervision of works and budgets. All of which has been applied in community development projects, urban development, tourist, environmental and lately promoting and applying the concepts of sustainable building, including the assessment of their environmental performance.

Experience: with team work with professionals from various disciplines; with community groups; with employees and directors of international organizations at high levels and with micro and large entrepreneurs. Financial sources for not-for-profit organizations and from the financial sector. Analyses of economic and technical feasibility of projects. Participation and promotion in lectures, post graduate courses, seminars and conferences, national and international.

Bilingual Spanish – English; French at working level, basic understanding of Portuguese and Italian.
